Small Size Edit

You are short, at best 4' and typically (fittingly) slender. While you are not outright noticeable in a crowd, it does tend to stand out that you are a head below most others. Small Size is relative, and most characters are in their early to mid teens. Small Size should only be taken for exceptionally young characters (like 10 or below) or for people who are small for some other reason.

Effects
You have -20 Strength. If this penalty would reduce you below 10, then it instead reduces you to 10 and you can 'buy off' the rest of the debt as you gain more points into strength. However, your small size means you are more adept at getting out of the way and avoiding some attacks. You recieve a +3 bonus to dodge rolls and stealth checks and you recieve only half damage from attacks that target multiple victims. You gain an additional +2 bonus to defend against called shots.

Flexible Edit

You have a wonderful knack for twisting your body as needed, whether this is by trained muscle elasticity through practice or you are naturally double-jointed or even just exceptionally limber.

Effects
You may use your DEX or AGI in place of STR for all grapple checks. You may also deal ((DEX+AGI+STR)/30)d10 damage or (STR/10)d10 damage with unarmed strikes in a grapple check. You do not receive either of those bonuses if you're grappling someone with one hand, from say the Huge Size unique. Further, you can dance in and out of range better, meaning your attack's range improves by 1 category.

Juggernaut Edit

Your body is powerfully built, whether outright hulking with muscle mass or simply lean and veritably carved from stone. Whether you work out religiously or simply have natural toning that is easily maintained, you are exceptionally dense with raw muscle.

Effects
All damage you receive is reduced by STR/3. Further, any critical hits against you have their critical effect reduced by 1 category. So if someone strikes you three times, they only inflict a level 2 critical.

Endless Energy Edit

Perhaps because you have some hidden reserve of inner strength or are just because you've trained your endurance more then anyone else. No matter how far you push yourself, your body has more to give. Moreover, you can be back up to full with only short breaks in between activities.

Effects
You receive double the restored stamina from resting. Further, you may function below 0 stamina without any negative effects, be it from spending it or from getting stamina drained from an attack. However, while your stamina and chakra is below 0 you can not take an action other then resting or pulling chakra unless you spend a point of willpower every action. You may spend a point of willpower to automatically pass a check to stay conscious after your HP is damaged. If your stamina gets damaged while at 0 or below then you instead lose one point of willpower. If you have no point of willpower to spend, you suffer the normal effects of being below 0 stamina.

Fists of Stone Edit

Be it through rigorous conditions, superb chakra control, or just really tough skin your body is not easily pierced or cut. You can grab blades and spikes with only minimal damage and slow your fall by digging your hands into the stone.

Effects
You may parry weapons with a greater then HtH range with your unarmed strike. Whenever you successfully parry with an unarmed strike you may spend 5 stamina to make an opposed STR roll. If successful you grab the weapon and yank it out of the other person's hand. Further, when you block you divide the damage by 3 instead of 2.

Demihuman Edit

You are somehow not quite human. Your appearance may vary a little or greatly from a normal human's, though it is quite noticeable in some way and difficult to hide. You may have been ostracized because of your appearance or celebrated, but the fact always remains--you stand out in a crowd, often not in a good way.

Effects
You look like an animal or otherwise inhuman. How you look is up to you, but appearances are just that, appearances and no mechanical effect is derived from them (although they may inspire customs). You also gain one special 'mutation' from the following list that actually gives a mechanical benefit:

Natural Weapons Edit

You have a natural weapon, be it claws, a horn, or sharp teeth that you can use in combat.

Effects
Whenever you strike someone with an unarmed attack and deal damage using your natural weapons, they receive an extra 1d10 damage each of their actions for your (STR/10) actions from profuse bleeding or similar. This damage bypasses DR. This bonus damage does not stack, the timer merely 'resets' every time the victim is hit.

Heightened Edit

You have more acute senses then a normal human, like the eyes of a cat or a hawk or a dog's nose or bat's ears.

Effects
You gain a +2 bonus on awareness checks. You receive no visibility penalty for darkness, except total darkness (you can see equally well in low light, like night) and you see things twice as far as away as most people.

Environmental Adaptation Edit

Effects
Choose one particular environment, such as tundra, desert, underwater, high altitude. You ignore most basic environmental conditions relating to that environment. For instance, you may have gills to breath underwater or a thick fur coat to protect you from the cold. Either way, you get a +5 bonus on fortitude checks to resist poison and other environmental effects.

Vestigial Wings Edit

Effects
You have grown vestigial wings on your back. You can use your wings as a fan for purposes of using jutsu. You never have to take damage from falling and you gain a +5 bonus to all athletics checks.
You may select this unique more then once, selecting a new mutation each time.

Exceptionally Fast Edit

You can cause yourself to have short bursts of speed, to the point that your form blurs into your next attack. Practicing these quick, rapid bursts of speed has also improved your reaction time.

Effects
Up to AGI/30 times per round, you may act twice in a row by losing your last action in the round. You also gain a +5 bonus to your initiative score and +1 APR.
